About Karen Tinney

Born and raised in the breathtaking landscape of County Donegal, in North West Ireland, Karen's spiritual path began early. Her journey led her to the UK, where she pursued studies in health and healing—foundations that would deeply enhance her own spiritual awakening. Surprisingly, it was in the heart of London—a bustling, vibrant city—that Karen experienced a profound deepening of her soul's purpose.

Professional Background & Study

Karen holds a BSc in Complementary Therapies (Aromatherapy) and is a registered member of the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA). She has also served as an assistant teacher of Tai Chi and Qi Gong, disciplines she continues to practice, guided by the principle that one is always a student of the Tao.

In 2019, Karen began her journey with Yoga and Pilates, discovering the power of self-care through mindful movement. Her commitment to wellbeing led her to complete the Yoga4NHS Staff Wellbeing Course (Part II) in February 2024, earning certification as a Level II Breath Ambassador through the Yoga in Healthcare Alliance.

Spiritual Work

Karen has answered the call to serve as a Healer, Psychic Medium, and Channel for Spirit. She is a certified Angelic Reiki Master Practitioner and Teacher, offering both in-person and remote appointments.

With a strong and clear connection to the Spirit World, Karen effortlessly hears the voice of Spirit and receives visions. Her psychic sight, combined with a natural ability for energy healing—what she lovingly calls Lightwork—has brought transformation and comfort to many on their healing paths.

ARTShift

Inspired by a personal health emergency, Karen was divinely guided to create ARTShift—an intuitive, healing art workshop designed to help you reconnect with your personal truth through the process of painting. This immersive experience is both gentle and powerful, inviting you to step beyond the boundaries of your mind and explore your inner landscape.

ARTShift is available for individual sessions and group workshops, providing a safe space for creativity, reflection, and emotional release.

In 2012  Karen published her first eBook with Ether Books. Called ‘A Way In’. It is now available to download from Kindle Books on www.amazon.com (Ireland+ International), and www.amazon.co.uk (UK).

She was also delighted to be a contributor to the paperback book 'One step from Heaven' by Lindsley Cash in 2022. A group of Channelers, Mediums and Healers gathered together online in 2020 to receive messages from souls in the spirit world. This group still gathers weekly to receive guidance from many sources. Published by Balboa Press, a  division of Hay House.
